Jaama's senior team in new product push as tech manages 1.5 million vehicles
Executives with more than 50 years' tech experience between them have joined the senior leadership team at the Tamworth-based fleet software company.
Fleet software company Jaama has appointed two technology leaders with a combined 50 years of industry experience to drive its future growth.
Mark Francis joins the business as chief product officer, while Marc Harris becomes the company’s new chief technology officer.
Francis has delivered Software as a Service platforms, smartphone apps and artificial intelligence products during a 25-year career and will “focus on customer pain points” as part of Jaama’s product development programme.
Harris, who will modernise and streamline the software build and delivery process, has decades of experience in software companies specialising in areas including accountancy, HR, document management and education.
The moves come as Jaama achieves a key landmark, with the customer fleet powered by its software reaching 1.5 million vehicles for the first time.
Recent customer wins include Culina Group, where Jaama’s Key2 fleet and asset management system will be deployed across its UK fleet of 4,000 trucks, 8,000 trailers, 500 vans, 300 cars, and 4,000 pieces of mechanical handling equipment.
Jaama, which marked its 20th anniversary last year, offers fleet management software to sectors including leasing, rental, corporate and the public sector.
Other recent additions to the business include Rhianna Greaves, who joined as customer success director and Michelle Batty, who was appointed head of marketing.
